Wide-Angle View for Fast Target Acquisition
With magnification starting at 1.5×, the Magnar CLASSIC provides a broad, natural view of the surroundings, helping the shooter locate and follow a target quickly. Its wide-angle optical system offers a field of view ranging from 15.5° to 2.6°, making the scope highly adaptable to changing distances and dynamic hunting situations.
At the lowest magnification, the image remains open and comfortable, without the distracting tunnel effect often associated with conventional riflescopes. This makes target acquisition faster while maintaining better awareness of the surrounding terrain.
Dual-Color Illuminated Reticle
The second focal plane etched reticle features a fine central aiming point with adjustable illumination in red or green. The two illumination colors allow the shooter to select suitable contrast for different backgrounds and lighting conditions, from bright daylight to the final moments of twilight.
The illuminated point remains subtle and precise, helping the shooter concentrate on the target without obscuring important details. Illumination is powered by a widely available CR2032 battery.
Capped Turrets with a Traditional Profile
Unlike the tactical-style models in the Magnar range, the CLASSIC version uses low-profile capped adjustment turrets. The caps protect the adjustment mechanisms against accidental movement, dirt, and mechanical damage while preserving the clean appearance expected from a traditional hunting riflescope.
Practical markings incorporated into the reticle can also support elevation and windage corrections without the need to adjust the turrets repeatedly in the field.
Fully Multi-Coated Optics
The 42 mm objective lens and fully multi-coated optical surfaces provide a bright, clear, and high-contrast image while maintaining a compact overall profile. A removable throw lever on the magnification ring makes zoom adjustments fast and convenient, including when operating the scope while wearing gloves.
Built for Reliable Field Use
The Magnar CLASSIC is built around a durable 30 mm main tube and is resistant to recoil, water, and internal fogging. Measuring 320 mm and weighing 599 g, it offers a balanced combination of durability, optical performance, and manageable size. A generous 96 mm eye relief further supports comfortable and confident shooting.
