We are proud to open a new chapter in the development of the Noxar product range. Meet the Noxar Vizar C2, our first thermal imaging device and a compact thermal reflex sight designed for fast target detection, intuitive operation, and comfortable use in the field.
By combining the speed and natural handling of a reflex sight with the detection capabilities of thermal imaging, the Vizar C2 gives users a lightweight alternative to traditional thermal riflescopes. It allows thermal contrasts to be identified after dark, in forests, across open terrain, and wherever conventional optics may not provide enough information.
Thermal Imaging in a Reflex Sight Format
The Vizar C2 was developed to provide rapid target acquisition without forcing the user to remain positioned behind a large and heavy riflescope.
Its native 1x magnification supports a wide and natural view of the surroundings, while the 1x, 2x, and 3x digital zoom settings allow the image to be adjusted when more detail is required. The 13 mm F0.9 lens provides a field of view of 13.5° x 10.1°, helping users maintain situational awareness during dynamic observation.
Sensitive Thermal Sensor
At the heart of the Vizar C2 is a 256 x 192 px thermal sensor with NETD sensitivity below 30 mK. This allows the device to detect subtle temperature differences and produce a clear thermal image in challenging environmental conditions.
Multiple color modes, including White Hot, Black Hot, Iron, Green Hot, and Red Hot, make it possible to adapt the image to different surroundings and personal preferences.
Intuitive Touchscreen Control
Operation has been simplified through a compact 1.6-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 320 x 320 px.
The housing features only two physical controls, a power button and a dedicated photo and video button. All other settings can be accessed directly from the touchscreen. Changing the image mode, adjusting the view, or selecting a reticle requires only a few simple movements, allowing the user to remain focused on observation.
Two reticle styles and four reticle colors provide additional flexibility when adapting the sight to the target, background, and operating conditions.
Built-in Recording and 30 GB Memory
The Vizar C2 can capture both photos and videos without requiring an external recording device. Its integrated 30 GB memory provides plenty of space for documenting observations, reviewing recorded situations, and saving important moments from the field.
A dedicated recording button enables immediate access to these functions without navigating through the menu.
Flexible Power Options
The Vizar C2 can be powered by a rechargeable 14280 3.7 V battery or a CR2 3.7 V battery. Two rechargeable batteries and a charger are included with the device.
A single battery provides more than four hours of continuous operation. For longer observation sessions, the USB-C port allows the device to be connected to an external 5 V power source.
Compact, Lightweight, and Ready for the Field
Measuring only 43 x 41 x 52 mm and weighing 112 g, the Vizar C2 adds thermal imaging capability without significantly increasing the size or weight of the equipment.
The mounting system is included, allowing the device to be quickly integrated with a compatible platform. Its operating temperature range from -20°C to 50°C makes it suitable for use across a wide range of field and weather conditions.
